DESCRIPTION:This session build members foundational knowledge and practica
 l skills in data literacy\, ethical data collection and digital investigat
 ion methods relevant to advocacy work. The session was designed as a colla
 borative learning space which introduces real-world approaches to data col
 lection through case studies and web scraping tools sharing from CSO and d
 ata journalist representatives. Key components also included the introduct
 ion of data standards and documentation frameworks such as HURIDOCS and Ba
 yanat and other web scraping tools to potentially support more credible an
 d consistent data that is actionable in advocacy.
